Jason Beaudreau
The short story:
Jason Beaudreau began teaching guitar in 1989, and since that time, has devoted his life to the instrument and furthering music and guitar pedagogy. As a seasoned professional educator, performer, and composer, Jason has taught thousands of students from all over the planet. From music stores, to private studios, to college classrooms, master classes and clinics, online lessons over Skype and Zoom, to print and video, Jason has a vast breadth of experience in helping players from all abilities meet their goals.
With formal musical studies commencing in 1979, Jason has sought out and studied music with some of the best teachers the planet has to offer. He holds a Master of Fine Arts Degree in Guitar Performance, Pedagogy, Improvisation, and Technology from Goddard College (2013), and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Jazz Guitar Performance and Music Theory and Composition, both magna cum laude, from the State University of New York, College at New Paltz (1995). Jason taught at the National Guitar Workshop for over a decade and learned from many of the worlds greatest players and educators during this time. In addition, Jason was music faculty at Villa Maria College, Niagara Community College, and has taught guitar and music as a guest artist at locations across the country.
